Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer II to design, implement, monitor, and support reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure across GreyOrange’s global locations, including warehouses, offices, and customer sites. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of networks supporting mission-critical automation and robotics platforms.

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer II to design, implement, monitor, and support reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure across GreyOrange’s global locations, including warehouses, offices, and customer sites. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of networks supporting mission-critical automation and robotics platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise and industrial network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
- Ensure high availability and performance of network systems supporting robotics, WMS, and cloud platforms.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, and performance problems across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Implement and manage network security controls including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access policies.
- Support customer deployments and site rollouts, including warehouses and fulfillment centers.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, SRE, and Engineering teams to support application and platform requirements.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network operations.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (site-to-site, remote access).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG).
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of network security best practices.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
- Experience supporting industrial, warehouse, or OT networks.
- Exposure to automation systems, robotics, or IoT environments.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Experience with SD-WAN and network automation tools.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix networking concepts.
