Lead DevOps Engineer
Fully Remote (Must be a UK national for security clearance)
Up to £110,000
Would you be interested in helping a self-funded scale-up in the Data space to build their DevOps capability, which helps it's clients build software to utilise their data better?
This data scale-up operate mainly within the public sector, helping government bodies that have vast swathes of data to make better use of it, and require a highly competent technical leader to help them deliver projects securely and with high quality architecture.
The role involves:
Fully Remote (Must be a UK national for security clearance)
Up to £110,000
Would you be interested in helping a self-funded scale-up in the Data space to build their DevOps capability, which helps it's clients build software to utilise their data better?
This data scale-up operate mainly within the public sector, helping government bodies that have vast swathes of data to make better use of it, and require a highly competent technical leader to help them deliver projects securely and with high quality architecture.
The role involves:
- Working closely with the Engineering team to design and deliver the technical vision and solutions, including AI, for the business, collaborating with all key stakeholders.
- Leading an Agile team using extensive knowledge, experience, and ingenuity to ensure the organisation is providing their clients with robust, reliable solutions and products.
- Working closely with clients and end users to understand their requirements, being pivotal in product refinement and producing solutions that meet their needs.
- Innovate and direct the team and consistently challenge existing prototypes to allow the business to deliver better services/solutions.
- Confidently design and create customised solutions to support the innovation.
Skills needed:
- Kubernetes - must be very confident
- AWS
- IaC (Terraform)
- Python/Golang/Bash scripting ability
- CI/CD
- Ability to lead a team
Logistics:
- up to £110,000 base salary
- Remote working
