Driven by minimalist, refined design and bespoke aromas, we design, develop and implement scent marketing solutions, by way of unforgettable scent experiences, ambient scenting and custom branded products.

As the industry leader with over twenty-five years of experience and a dedicated team of perfumers, storytellers, and designers, we’ve created custom scents for some of the most well-known and luxurious brands. We believe in impactful experiences, inspiring spaces, elevated design, and meaningful connections.

About The Role

The full-time Accounts Receivable Officer reports directly to the Global Finance Manager and is part of our Global Finance team. You’ll oversee the Accounts Receivable function globally (Australia, New York, Dubai and the Netherlands). With a strong focus on collections, you’ll work closely with clients to manage outstanding accounts in a professional and solutions-focused way, ensuring timely payments while maintaining positive working relationships.

As a seasoned Accounts Receivable Officer, your days will be filled with:

  • Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including payment collection
  • Communicating with customers across global markets via email and phone regarding payment reminders, queries, and outstanding balances
  • Investigating and resolving billing issues, payment disputes, and account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Meticulously processing and reconciling daily bank feeds to ensure all incoming payments are accurately recorded and allocated
  • Proactively contacting customers to follow up on outstanding invoices and reduce aged debtor balances
  • Setting up and monitoring customer payment plans, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and following up on overdue accounts
  • Processing payments via multiple methods (credit card, direct debit, and online portals) and across multiple currencies
  • Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved
  • Maintaining accurate customer records within the accounting system and assisting with month-end reporting for accounts receivable
  • Collaborating with internal departments (sales, administration, and warehouse) to confirm payment status and support order release decisions.

Our finance team supports all our international offices from our Australian headquarters in Moorabbin – therefore occasional out of hours work may be required. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your customer service mindset and energy to a complex Accounts Receivable role with a global focus. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your own flair and make this role your own, with potential for genuine long-term career progression.

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration, or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately
  • Strong negotiation skills and clear and professional communication to deal with debtors
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve payment issues efficiently
  • A certification or tertiary qualification, or working towards, in accounting, finance, business or bookkeeping (preferred, but not essential)
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with multiple currencies or global customers (desirable)
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to managing outstanding accounts.
