About the role We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support cross-functional teams within our global digital education organisation. This remote role is focused on facilitating Agile ceremonies, supporting delivery workflows, and promoting clear team communication within established operational frameworks. Applicants must be based in Australia or legally authorised to work in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Support product and development teams to maintain healthy backlogs and refine user stories
• Help identify and remove impediments to team progress and escalate risks when required
• Track sprint progress and support team performance metrics and reporting within established systems
• Promote effective stakeholder communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile team facilitation role
• Practical experience with sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile workflows
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and across time zones as required
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent credential preferred
• Experience working with software development teams and familiarity with common SDLC concepts
