A Senior Project Manager is required on a fixed term contract to lead a finance system transformation. You’ll be the point person driving the upgrade/implementation of a Civica Authority–based finance environment, working across Finance, IT and multiple business units to deliver a clean, well‑governed project in a tight timeframe.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading end‑to‑end delivery of a finance system transformation (Civica Authority or similar ERP)
• Owning project scope, plan, budget, risks/issues and stakeholder engagement
• Coordinating internal teams and vendor resources across finance, payroll, rates/revenue and procurement workstreams
• Running workshops for requirements, solution design and process improvement
• Overseeing testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning and early life support
• Driving change, comms and training so users actually adopt the new way of working

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering ERP/finance system projects
• Hands‑on experience with Civica Authority or comparable platforms (TechnologyOne, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Strong understanding of core finance processes: GL, AP/AR, budgeting/forecasting, procurement, payroll, rates/revenue or billing
• Demonstrated ability to operate in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
• Comfortable setting up and running project governance, steering groups and status reporting
• Excellent communication skills – you can talk detail with SMEs and strategy with executives
• Available to start at short notice and commit to at least 3 months (high chance of extension)
