Operations Reporting Analyst

Australian Venue Co. (AVC) is home to some of Australia and New Zealand's most iconic pubs, bars and hospitality venues. With a portfolio of 200+ venues and a growing national footprint, we are seeking an Operations Reporting Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our operations network.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys translating data into meaningful insights that drive real business impact.



About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Analytics Manager, the Operations Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting venue operations through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

You'll work closely with Operations, Analytics, and Data Services teams to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and enhance reporting capabilities that support strategic objectives.

This role suits someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and confident working with operational stakeholders to turn numbers into action.



Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and interpret operational data to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for venue operations teams
  • Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations using tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency and automation across reporting suites
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Data Services, Operations and management teams
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on reporting tools and systems
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and compliance with privacy and organisational policies
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on operational reporting enhancement

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting or a similar analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Hospitality, retail, multi-site or operations experience will be highly regarded.
