Band of Coders is seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our remote team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our applications. We are looking for someone with expertise in Kubernetes, Python, and Javascript, as well as experience working with APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop backend systems using Kubernetes, Python, and Javascript
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend systems with user-facing applications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing backend systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Create and maintain APIs for seamless communication between different systems
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Python, and Javascript
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating backend systems with frontend applications
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment
