We have large, well-known media brands and a set of the largest digital services in the country. Now we are searching for future digital talents for Sanoma Media Trainee 2025 program.

Sanoma Media Trainee is an 8-month training program that combines development work in an expert team, shared learning events, personal development plan and a community of other trainees, engaged management and experts of different fields.

Developer Trainee

Developer trainee works as a part of a cross-functional development team in varying development roles in our journalistic product and subscription business area. We are looking for software developers and AI developers. You can choose the role that interests you in the application form.

Software developers focus on developing new functionalities & capabilities to our journalistic products. AI developers focus on building our own AI capabilties & utilizing forms of generative AI to optimize journalistic processes. Technologies we use are React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, Scala, AWS, Rust, Python.

What are we looking for:

• students at the end of their studies / recent graduates from a relevant field and IT knowledge from studies/previous work experience/hobbies
• good communication skills in English and/or in Finnish
• good teamwork and collaboration skills
• enthusiastic attitude and motivation to learn
