Job Description

Currently, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer in Liège, Belgium.

Main responsibilities

  • Design and validate electronical/electrical compartment of the luminaire based on available building blocks
  • Conception of prototypes (electrical design)
  • Definition & optimization of test plans (EMC, electrical safety, DALI, …)
  • Works closely with the Research department to evaluate and design new building blocks
  • Proposes cost down opportunities on existing solutions
  • Technological watch, propose new research ideas
  • Train peers on electrical design across segments
  • Proposes improvements on way of working to increase efficiency

Qualifications

  • Engineering master’s degree in electrical or equivalent by experience
  • At least 3 – 7 years of relevant experience
  • Languages : English (B2) + French (or willing to learn)
  • Electrical advanced
  • Knowledge in programming
  • Knowledge of CAO software (SolidWorks, Autocad)
  • Electrical norms application (EMC / Electrical Safety) advanced
  • Good communication skills
