We are currently looking for a Squad Scrum Master to support one of our clients in the financial sector.

Mission Context

The Scrum Master is a key role within Agile projects and acts as the facilitator of the Scrum framework within the squad.

The mission focuses on ensuring the proper application of Agile methodologies, coaching the team, and enabling the squad to deliver maximum value while removing obstacles and protecting the team from internal and external distractions.

Function Description

Agile Team Follow-up

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective)

• Ensure the proper execution of Agile processes and methodology steps

• Support the team in achieving the Definition of Done (DoD) and Sprint objectives

• Assist the Product Owner in managing and refining the Product Backlog

• Monitor team capacity and velocity metrics to support planning and delivery

• Identify and resolve impediments impacting the squad

Agile Methodology & Coaching

• Ensure Agile techniques (Scrum or Kanban) are correctly understood and applied

• Act as a servant leader for the squad

• Protect the squad from external interruptions and improve team focus

• Coach, challenge, and support the team in achieving sprint goals

• Foster continuous improvement within the squad

• Manage interactions with internal and external stakeholders

• Maintain collaboration with third-party providers when applicable

Language Requirements

• English: Fluent

• French: Knowledge is a plus

• Dutch: Knowledge is a plus

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator

• Proven delivery experience in Agile environments

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Experience with Agile reporting and tracking tools (e.g., Rally)

• Good understanding of software development methodologies

• Good knowledge of project management practices

Nice to have

• Experience working with package solutions

• Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration tools

Business Knowledge

• Experience in Agile delivery environments

• Knowledge of the Payments domain is a strong advantage
