Role Overview

Techgenix is seeking a Blockchain Specialist based in France to research, analyze, and advise on blockchain technologies and decentralized protocols. This role involves evaluating technical architectures, assessing protocol viability, and supporting implementation strategies across DeFi, Layer-1/Layer-2 solutions, and enterprise blockchain initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Conduct technical analysis of blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized applications.  

• Evaluate project architectures, scalability, security, and ecosystem fit.  

• Advise engineering, product, and strategy teams on blockchain adoption and integration.  

• Monitor on-chain activity, protocol performance, and industry trends to inform decisions.  

• Produce technical reports, whitepapers, and strategic recommendations.  

• Assess tokenomics, governance frameworks, and protocol incentives to optimize strategy.  

• Stay current with blockchain innovation, research papers, and regulatory developments.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in blockchain analysis, research, or consulting.  

• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and DeFi ecosystems.  

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.  

• Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Nansen, Glassnode) or equivalent.  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.  

• Knowledge of French and EU blockchain regulations is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical/analytical field.  

• Experience advising projects or enterprises on blockchain implementation.  

• Familiarity with Layer-1/Layer-2 protocols, DeFi primitives, and blockchain interoperability.  

• Prior research, auditing, or consulting experience in blockchain is a plus.

Compensation & Structure

• Base Salary: €95,000 - 125,000 annually.  

• Remote flexibility within France.
