Freelance Frontend Developer (m/f/d)

Project Overview:

We’re partnering with a well‑established, reputable client based in Berlin to find a Frontend Developer who’s excited about shaping modern conversational products. In this role, you’ll help build intuitive, engaging chat‑based interfaces used by a broad and growing user base. Although the company is headquartered in Berlin, the position is fully remote within Germany, offering flexibility without sacrificing impact.

Key Objectives:

Develop and maintain modern, user‑friendly frontend applications

Contribute to the design and implementation of chat‑based and conversational interfaces

Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams

Support the integration of new technologies, including AI‑powered components

Participate in planning, architecture discussions, and continuous improvements

Requirements:

• Strong experience with modern frontend technologies, ideally including:
• React (Hooks, Context API, component architecture)
• Next.js or similar frameworks
• State management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar)
• REST APIs and/or GraphQL
• Modern CSS approaches (CSS‑in‑JS, Tailwind, Styled Components, etc.)
• Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Solid understanding of UX principles and performant web applications
• Interest in chatbots, conversational UI, or AI‑driven products
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is desirable but not required
