Senior PHP Developer - PHP, Java/Kotlin, AWS - Amsterdam [product] (75K)

My client is a leading software company with a strong technical team, building advanced content-creation software used daily by thousands of professionals worldwide. Their flagship product is a platform running on a custom PHP framework. You will join a talented, international engineering team responsible for the core of this platform.

The tech stack is modern and diverse: the foundation is PHP, but you will also work with Java/Kotlin, Elasticsearch, and everything runs on AWS with Docker/k8s. They are looking for someone who is not only technically strong but also has the drive to take end-to-end ownership, mentor junior developers, and elevate the products to a higher level.

Your profile:

You have extensive experience with PHP development and deep knowledge of core PHP concepts. You have at least some experience with or a strong affinity for Java/Kotlin and the JVM environment. You're familiar with complex integrations and cloud-native architectures. You enjoy mentoring junior developers, have excellent communication skills in English, and are comfortable working in a hybrid model.

Furthermore:

• 5+ years of PHP development experience
• 2+ years of experience with Java/Kotlin or strong affinity for the JVM
• Experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
• Elasticsearch knowledge is a plus
