Redbridge Recruitment are currently working with an Anglo-saxon asset manager who are seeking a corporate secretary for their offices here in Luxembourg. You will work closely with the broader operations team located across multiple jurisdictions, which are responsible for supporting the companys investing activities. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing team in a fast-spaced, entrepreneurial work environment.
Core Responsibilities
• Monitor cash flows and initiate treasury movements in accordance with investments
structuring considerations
• Understand the underlying investment structures and deals, maintain oversight of
distributions and arrange for repatriations in line with structuring requirements
• Partner with investing professionals, outside and internal counsel, tax, and compliance
professionals ensuring good cross-functional communication and coordination throughout the
investing process
• Monitor entity compliance across portfolio including statutory filing requirements, corporate
tax and VAT returns
• Liaise with service providers in multiple locations to oversee portfolio companies
• Oversee Transfer Pricing requirements with third party advisors
• Manage accounts payable process with third party vendors and central accounts payable
processing and assist with the bank transfer and cash management process
• Prepare documentation and present topics for Board meeting discussions
• Ensure corporate files are complete, including coordination with other offices,
legal firms, and other third parties
• Assist with entity creation, KYC processes, entity management and oversight
• Assist with the external and internal audit process
• Proactively develop and maintain efficient internal controls and business processes
• Participate in ad-hoc special projects
Profile
• Experience in (a combination of) Luxembourg audit firms, service providers or
alternative asset management firms
• A solid understanding of Luxembourg tax structures, including traditional and hybrid
financial instruments.
• Strong English verbal and written communication abilities
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented candidates with strong problem-solving
skills
• Fluency in English required, French/German considered an asset
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CFA, CPA, etc) would be an advantage but not required
