Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for on-site deployment, integration and commissioning of network solutions, ensuring successful service delivery.
- Perform installation, configuration, and parameter provisioning of network elements on virtual or cloud environments.
- Execute end-to-end service verification and acceptance testing (ATP/UAT).
- Lead network cutover, migration, expansion, and software upgrade activities, ensuring minimal service impact and compliance with change management procedures.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting of complex issues related to signaling and sessions.
- Support customer acceptance processes, prepare technical documentation, test reports, MOPs (Method of Procedure), and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with R&D, remote technical support, and customer engineering teams to resolve critical issues within SLA timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related ICT fields.
- Strong understanding of IP network architecture, virtualization and cloud platforms.
- Familiar with telecommunication protocols and related 3GPP standards.
- Experience in network deployment, integration, or field support is preferred.
- Ability to perform on-site troubleshooting under time pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-cultural environments.
- Fluent in Slovene and English
