The Role
Your mission is to soak up knowledge and actively contribute to modernizing our platform. Guided by our Senior Devs, youll help build modern UI using Lit and Web Components, migrating features from our legacy system to ensure a seamless, high-quality interface.
Were looking for a clean-code enthusiast eager to become an expert in modern frontend architectures.
- Active Learning: Jump into internal training and mentoring to master our stack (Lit, Web Components, modern JS).
- Component Development: Build reusable UI components based on UX/UI designs and team standards.
- Legacy Migration: Support the transition from old features to our new Web Components architecture.
- Code Quality: Write clean JavaScript (ESNext) following industry best practices.
- Automated Testing: Learn and help create unit and integration tests for a robust frontend.
- Documentation: Keep our component library (Storybook) up to date.
- Bug Fixing: Identify and fix visual or logic issues under supervision.
- Collaboration: Be an active part of dailies and refinements, bringing a fresh perspective to technical talks.
- Recent graduate (Computer Science), Web Development vocational training, or a high-intensity Frontend Bootcamp.
- Core Tech: Solid grasp of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid).
- Growth Mindset: Proactive, curious, and open to constructive feedback (code reviews).
- Attention to Detail: A passion for pixel-perfect design and great UX.
- Git: Basic version control skills (clone, commit, push, pull).
- English: Good enough to read technical docs and communicate internally.
- UNIX / Bash Fundamentals: You need to be comfortable using the terminal. Whether you use WSL, Mac, or Linux, you should know your way around basic commands.
- Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with Lit or a solid understanding of Web Components.
- Personal GitHub projects that show off clean, organized code.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Figma, or Web Accessibility (WCAG).
