Senior AI Engineer (Generative AI & LLM Systems)

Are you ready to architect the next generation of agentic AI? We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of production-grade, scalable AI systems that go beyond simple chatbots to true autonomous workflows.

This is a high-impact role where you won't just be consuming APIs; you will be building the core infrastructure, RAG pipelines, and MLOps frameworks that define how our business evolves.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Technical Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design and deployment of large-scale AI models, moving from experimental notebooks to robust, high-availability production environments.
• Architectural Excellence: Build and optimise complex Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, focusing on multi-stage retrieval, vector database optimisation (Pinecone/Weaviate), and hallucination mitigation.
• Agentic Workflows: Develop autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing multi-step tasks across enterprise toolsets.
• Scale & Performance: Fine-tune open-source LLMs (Llama 3+, Mistral) using PEFT/LoRA techniques to achieve domain-specific excellence while maintaining cost and latency efficiency.
• Robust MLOps: Establish CI/CD pipelines for machine learning, including automated model evaluation, drift detection, and rigorous safety/governance guardrails.

What We’re Looking For

• Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a heavy focus on Machine Learning and AI in recent years.
• Tech Stack: Mastery of Python, PyTorch, and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Data Engineering: Deep understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes at scale, and working with both SQL and NoSQL environments.
• System Design: Proven ability to design distributed systems that handle high-concurrency inference and complex data orchestration.
• Education: A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is highly preferred.
