We are looking for a Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will engage in full-cycle Android application development within an Agile environment. Your primary focus will be to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. This position will allow you to boost your knowledge and experience, learn a lot and work with the best EPAM and Client engineers.

We are looking for a candidate who would be willing to work in a hybrid role (3 days at the office per week) from Gdansk, Krakow or Wroclaw.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android mobile applications, focusing on computer vision solutions for the construction industry
• Write optimized, scalable, and maintainable code using Kotlin
• Collaborate closely with customers to gather requirements and ensure the application meets their needs
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and other team development activities
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, and TensorFlow as needed
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Android Developer
• Proficiency in Kotlin
• Experience with CI/CD, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, and TensorFlow is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to interact directly with clients

• Understanding of Agile processes and workflows will be appreciated
