We are looking for an Android Developer for our global client operating in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the design and product teams to develop high-quality mobile applications that meet user needs and company objectives.
• Write clean, efficient, testable and maintainable code for Android applications using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, Compose Multiplatform, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Participate in the entire app development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Implement engaging user interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Integrate with external APIs and web services to fetch and display data in the app.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize app efficiency and performance.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements:

• 5-7y. of Android (App) development experience in Kotlin (incl. expertise for Android SDK, NDK, UI Frameworks, Jetpack-Compose)
• Knowledge in Kotlin Multiplatform or at least Kotlin and Java programming
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented software development
• Strong understanding of Android development best practices and design patterns.
• Expertise in CI and test automation as well as software quality practices (e.g. code reviews)
