In this strategic leadership role, you will guide a high-impact Product Analytics team dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights that shape product strategy and user experience at global scale. You will oversee a team of data scientists partnering closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and research leaders to drive evidence-based decision-making. Operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven and highly collaborative environment, you will ensure rigorous experimentation, accurate reporting, and accessible analytics. This role combines people leadership, advanced experimentation expertise, and data product development to influence key product outcomes. You will help cultivate a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and excellence while enabling stakeholders to make smarter, data-informed decisions.
Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately seven data scientists, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture focused on trust and empowerment.
- Ensure the timely delivery of accurate quantitative insights to inform product strategy, guide feature development, and measure product impact in a dynamic environment.
- Partner closely with product managers, engineering teams, and research stakeholders to embed data-informed thinking into product development processes.
- Oversee experimentation frameworks, measurement standards, product health metrics, dashboards, and reporting practices to improve clarity and accessibility of insights.
- Collaborate with data engineering and experimentation platform teams to design and maintain scalable data products and tools.
- Establish shared data processes and quality standards to ensure reliability, consistency, and transparency across analytics initiatives.
- Significant experience in experimental design, statistics, and large-scale user or audience analytics within digital product environments.
- Proven track record collaborating with cross-functional product development teams in fast-paced settings to evaluate user-facing features.
- Prior people management experience with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical talent.
- Strong expertise in large-scale data processing and storage tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Spark, or similar ecosystems.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and responsible data practices, including handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, and comfort navigating ambiguity in complex organizational environments.
- Availability to work within UTC+1 to UTC-8 time zones, attend key meetings between 14:00 and 22:00 UTC, and travel up to four times per year.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from US$132,439 to US$192,799 for U.S.-based candidates, adjusted by location, skills, and experience.
