Focus Systems is seeking experienced UX Designers to support digital product development across the SGI Auto Fund DRIVE Platform ecosystem.
This role will focus on user-centered design, research, and prototyping to enhance customer, partner, and internal digital experiences.
⚠️ Important: Candidates must have prior experience working with SGI on the research and design of the SGI Auto Fund DRIVE Platform.
• Location: Remote within Canada or onsite in Regina, SK
• Start Date: As early as Apr 1, 2026
• Contract Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
• Work Hours: Saskatchewan business hours
Role Overview
The UX Designer will lead user-centered design initiatives across digital insurance products, including customer portals, broker management systems, and internal tools.
You will conduct user research, create personas, map user journeys, develop wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate with product teams to deliver intuitive, accessible solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for digital insurance platforms
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and persona development
• Map user journeys and service blueprints to identify improvement opportunities
• Facilitate design thinking workshops and collaborative design sessions
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and business analysts in Agile teams
• Advocate for UX best practices and user-centered design principles
• Participate in design reviews and support continuous product improvement
Mandatory Qualifications
• Prior experience working with SGI on the research and design of the SGI Auto Fund DRIVE Platform
• Certification in Human-Centered Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or a related field
• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience supporting product delivery
• Experience with:
- Prototyping and interactive design
- Figma or similar design tools
- User research and usability testing
- Design thinking methodologies
- Scrum / Agile environments
- Azure DevOps
- Microsoft Office tools
