This role is primarily responsible for driving talent acquisition & development initiatives for Goldbell Group. You will support the Group’s recruitment goals by developing innovative strategies to enhance talent attraction, sourcing, and the overall hiring experience. You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
In addition, you will contribute to talent development by assisting in the planning and coordination of learning programmes, monitoring employee progress, and supporting initiatives that develop future-ready capabilities.
You will also be involved in employee engagement activities, helping to plan events, gather feedback, and support efforts that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes using various sourcing tools and platforms.
- Provide recruitment advice to business units, including market insights and best practices.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and develop accurate job descriptions.
- Implement effective sourcing strategies through job portals, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future roles.
- Track hiring metrics and maintain recruitment dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal policies, and diversity and inclusion standards.
Talent Development
- Support the design, planning, and execution of learning and development (L&D) programmes.
- Identify training needs through surveys, performance reviews, and feedback from managers.
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and development activities for employees.
- Track and monitor employee training progress and maintain L&D records.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and recommend improvements.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Help manage learning platforms, training vendors, and external partners.
- Contribute to developing career development frameworks and competencies.
- Assist in organising onboarding programmes to ensure a positive learning experience for new hires.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous learning.
Employee Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement activities and company-wide events.
- Support initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Gather, analyse, and report on employee feedback to identify engagement trends and improvement areas.
- Assist with communication initiatives to enhance employee connection and organisational alignment.
- Support the implementation of engagement surveys and follow-up action plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive programmes that strengthen employee morale and retention.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner.
- Strong knowledge of the Employment Act and relevant HR-related legislation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels.
