Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Palo Alto Engineer, located in Doha, Qatar. The Palo Alto Engineer will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewall systems. The daily tasks include implementing security policies, monitoring and optimizing network performance, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and providing technical support. The role will require collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and efficiency-driven network solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewall setup, configuration, and maintenance
• Knowledge of network security protocols and architecture, including VPN, IPS, and IDS systems
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
• Ability to implement, manage, and optimize security policies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with industry cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) are preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous experience in similar roles is advantageous
