Full-timeInformation Technology

We are a specialized technical unit within a government law enforcement structure. Our core mission is to provide advanced technical capabilities, digital forensics, and offensive security expertise to support complex, high-stakes investigations. You will be joining a dynamic team where your technical skills directly impact national security and the fight against serious, technology-enabled crime.

What you will actually do:

  • Perform deep-dive digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) on seized digital assets, networks, and systems to extract critical evidence.
  • Conduct specialized penetration testing and vulnerability research to support operational objectives and secure critical infrastructure.
  • Analyze attack vectors, trace digital footprints of threat actors, and assist in reverse-engineering malicious activity.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with operational units and investigators, translating complex technical findings into actionable intelligence.
  • Provide hands-on technical and tactical support during field operations when necessary.

What we expect from you:

  • You know how to break into systems, but you also know how to meticulously piece together digital evidence.
  • Proven practical experience in both Penetration Testing (network/web/infrastructure) and Digital Forensics (disk, memory, mobile).
  • Comfort with offensive tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap) as well as forensic industry standards (e.g., Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite, Autopsy, Volatility).
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle sensitive operational data, and pass necessary background checks.
  • You can explain complex technical vulnerabilities or forensic artifacts to non-technical officers, operatives, and prosecutors.

Unlike standard corporate cybersecurity roles, this position puts you at the center of active, real-world investigations. You will have access to scenarios, operational data, and technical challenges that simply do not exist outside of the government sector. It's an environment built for practitioners who want to apply their penetration testing and forensic skills to cases that matter, working alongside an experienced team of cyber and intelligence specialists.
