A global data, analytics and technology organisation providing services in credit, fraud prevention, identity verification, risk management, automated decisioning and consumer insights.

We are looking for a Software Developer to join a growing Integrations and Decisioning engineering team. This role focuses on building and supporting reliable backend systems and services that power critical decisioning and data integrations.

You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to design, develop and maintain high-quality systems while contributing to improvements in reliability, performance and engineering practices.

• Design and build reliable backend services and infrastructure tooling

• Write high-quality, maintainable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD)

• Develop and maintain automated test suites

• Own the reliability, observability and performance of key services

• Work directly with clients to understand requirements, investigate issues and propose solutions

• Improve system architecture, automation and deployment processes

• Support and mentor junior developers where appropriate

• Take ownership of technical challenges and drive solutions through to completion
  
  

• Strong programming skills in Node.js or a similar backend language

• Experience using TDD and automated testing practices

• Comfortable working with clients to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  
  

• Experience supporting backend systems in production environments

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling

• Experience designing systems that operate under sustained load

• Contributions to internal developer tooling or open-source projects

• Experience working with large datasets or machine learning models
