TaxDone is building a modern digital platform to simplify tax filing in Switzerland. We are developing secure, reliable systems that handle sensitive financial data and support real users.

We are hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain core backend and frontend systems that power the TaxDone platform.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend and/or frontend features

Design and integrate APIs supporting tax workflows and validation

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Improve system performance and reliability

Debug production issues and deploy stable fixes

Collaborate with product, data, and compliance teams

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong proficiency in at least one language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar)

Experience working with APIs and databases

Understanding of system architecture and version control (e.g., Git)

Experience working on production-level systems

Fluent English

Comfortable working in a remote Switzerland-based team

Preferred

Experience in fintech, SaaS, or data-intensive platforms

Familiarity with cloud-based environments

Experience handling sensitive financial or personal data
