Role Overview

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of mobile and web banking platforms that serve millions of customers. You’ll drive technical strategy, ensure scalability, and mentor engineering teams to build secure, resilient, and customer-centric digital banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver mobile (iOS/Android) and web banking applications with enterprise-grade performance and security.
• Lead engineering teams, set coding standards, and ensure best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Drive innovation in digital banking experiences, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and APIs.
• Oversee performance tuning, monitoring, and incident resolution for mission-critical applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Principal Engineer/Tech Lead in large-scale mobile and web platforms.
• Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, Swift, React/Angular, Node.js.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with security frameworks, authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), and compliance in financial services.
• Knowledge of payments, digital onboarding, and transaction processing in banking.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to AI/ML-driven personalization in digital banking.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
