About the role

At Ord Minnett, we’re building digital products that matter for our people, our clients, and the future of advice and wealth management. We are looking for a craft‑driven UX/UI Designer to elevate the quality, usability and consistency of our digital experiences across internal and client‑facing platforms.

You will work closely with product, technology and business stakeholders across the full UX lifecycle, translating insight, data and commercial needs into intuitive, high‑quality interfaces with the opportunity to set the bar for experience quality across Ord Minnett.

For the right person, this role offers strong ownership, broad exposure, and the opportunity to help shape how design is practiced across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

• Own UX and UI design outcomes across internal and client‑facing applications
• Conduct and synthesise user research to uncover needs, pain points and opportunities
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished UI with a strong attention to detail
• Validate solutions through usability testing and iterate based on evidence
• Apply and contribute to our design system to ensure consistency, accessibility and scalability
• Partner closely with product managers, business analysts and engineers from discovery through to delivery
• Present design decisions clearly and confidently to stakeholders and incorporate feedback constructively

What You Bring

• 3+ years’ experience as a UX/UI Designer working on complex digital products (enterprise or financial services experience is a plus)
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful problem‑solving, design craft and measurable outcomes
• Confidence working end‑to‑end across research, interaction design, visual design and validation
• Deep care for usability, accessibility, design quality and prototyping
• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Miro, Jira, and experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Clear communication, presentation and strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multi-functional teams.
