We’re expanding and seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong experience in network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and IT infrastructure.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
  • Support the setup, installation, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure including Windows servers, Windows Workstations, Linux Server, Linux workstations.
  • Perform Active Directory administration tasks.
  • Application Support like Solarwinds, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Veeam Backup, SFTP servers etc.
  • Document IT procedures, network diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Work with senior IT staff to implement security measures and network improvements.
  • Assist in patch management and regular software/hardware updates.
  • Remediating the Vulnerability through Patching and implementing Security Policies.
  • Monitor network performance and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Incident Management: Log, categorifze, and resolve incidents in a timely manner; escalate as needed to higher-level support teams.
  • Problem Management: Assist in identifying root causes of recurring incidents and contribute to implementing long-term solutions.
  • Service Request Fulfillment: Handle common service requests such as access provisioning, software installations, and equipment setups.
  • Change Management: Support the execution and documentation of IT changes, ensuring minimal disruption and proper approvals are in place.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, problems, changes, and requests using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
  • Create and update standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and network diagrams.
  • Assist with preparing reports on service metrics and system health.



Requirements

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, RHEL Linux.
  • Knowledge of hardware setup and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures and contribute to documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
