Responsibilities

In this influential and hands‑on role, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines powering complex software products.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to deploy and configure cloud resources across Azure (and possibly AWS).
• Develop secure Azure cloud environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and industry‑leading safety standards.
• Collaborate with and guide development teams, helping to automate their workflows and strengthen continuous integration practices.
• Integrate security into every stage of the pipeline, including code signing, static analysis, and automated security testing.
• Champion DevOps culture across the organisation—coaching teams and promoting best practices.
• Mentor junior team members, offering architectural guidance and sharing your technical expertise.
• This is a high‑impact position with the freedom to bring new ideas, improve processes, and influence architectural decisions.

Experience

To succeed, you should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in a DevOps or development environment with strong cloud administration background (ideally Azure).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with modern pipeline and automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Snyk, Sonar, or New Relic.
• Expertise with DevOps and IaC frameworks like Terraform, Ansible, or Packer.
• Understanding of network administration and monitoring.
