Ready for a new challenge? Our clients are the leading brands in Europe, and they’re looking for a variety of IT&digital talent for their teams. We’ll help you reach the next level with a job perfectly suited for your unique skills and aspirations.

About Ariad:

We’re the IT & digital consultancy & staffing firm that leading A-brands in Europe count on to make digital transitions happen. We partner exclusively with brands like Samsung, Carrefour, ING, Orange and MediaMarkt.

About our role:

Our client is a key player within the pharmaceutical technology landscape, contributing to advancements that directly improve global health outcomes. The pharma industry is undergoing a profound shift driven by automation, data‑powered decision-making, and Agile ways of working to boost innovation and compliance. With emerging trends like modular development, accelerated clinical pipelines, and integrated hardware–software systems, the role of agility has never been more essential.

Our client is seeking a thoughtful, people‑centred, and structured professional to join their organisation as a Scrum Master. In this position, you will guide teams in adopting Agile behaviours and ensure that Scrum is fully understood and applied. You’ll also contribute to shaping an environment where collaboration improves outcomes and where continuous learning becomes part of the organisation’s DNA.

You will collaborate with a supportive cross-functional group (team members, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and an Agile Coach) and play a major role in enhancing transparency, alignment, and delivery excellence within product development. Your work will influence how complex systems evolve and how teams contribute to meaningful improvements in the European healthcare technology market.

If you’re energised by the idea of strengthening Agile practices, enabling teams to grow, and contributing to impactful innovation, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.

What you will be doing:

  • Guide teams in developing self-management capabilities and encourage cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure Scrum events take place consistently and remain purposeful, focused, and timeboxed.
  • Support teams in maintaining clear, transparent artefacts such as the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Definition of Done.
  • Help teams turn insights into meaningful experiments that lead to process improvement.
  • Encourage delivery of complete, high-quality increments each Sprint while helping reduce unnecessary work.
  • Coach Product Owners in managing backlogs effectively and setting outcome-driven goals.
  • Strengthen stakeholder collaboration through alignment on priorities, value, and evidence-based decisions.
  • Lead and mentor the organisation in adopting Agile principles and building an Agile mindset.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify and remove complex impediments and improve structural workflows.
  • Work with fellow Scrum Masters and the Agile Coach to scale Scrum and streamline cross-team coordination.

What you bring:

  • Ambition to further develop your career in Agile delivery, product development, or organisational transformation.
  • Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master within product development teams.
  • Past experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is nice to have.
  • Your strengths include solid Agile knowledge (Scrum, Lean, Kanban), facilitation, and systems thinking.
  • Working experience with tools such as product backlog platforms, Agile boards, and collaboration tools is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills that help you support teams through challenges and change.
  • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

The offer:

  • Contractor collaboration — long-term engagement.
  • Digital recruitment process and a fully guided onboarding experience.
  • Work for a well-known company recognised for its role in advancing healthcare technologies.
  • You’ll join a team that values clarity, continuous learning, and meaningful collaboration.
  • Working from home: remote options available depending on project phase and team needs.
