The Role
Responsible for the domestic services function within hospital and community premises through the effective deployment of staff resources to ensure effective cleaning methods, the control of infection and the promotion of a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Hotel Services - Domestic Department within the Kello Hospital, Biggar.
The working pattern for this role is Monday - Thursday (15:30pm - 20:00pm), Friday (15:30pm -19:42pm)

- Knowledge of Infection Control
- Manual Handling knowledge
- Health & Safety skills
- C.O.S.S.H
- Elementary Food Hygiene (provided internally)
- First Line Management (provided as personal development)
- Human Resource Policies and Protocols
- Basic IT Skills
- Car Driver
It would be great if you also have
- Experience of working within an NHS environment including awareness of Health & Safety Practices, & COSHH
- Domestic Services Monitoring experience
- General awareness of NHS business.
- Good communication skills – including written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work as an individual and as a team member.
