Join Danske Bank’s new Digital Assets unit as Commercial Development Lead for digital assets custody. Digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenised assets, are reshaping financial markets and client expectations. About The Team
You will join a new, specialised digital assets team based in Transaction Banking within our Large Corporates & Institutions business unit. The team acts as the bank’s centre of expertise for digital assets and as a single point of entry for initiatives across the Group. We work closely with business units, technology teams, and support functions to shape, assess, and advance digital asset initiatives in a coordinated way.
Your role
As Commercial Development Lead for Digital Assets Custody, you will take the lead on developing and running a core part of the bank’s future financial infrastructure. You will combine market insight, product ownership, and structured execution to help establish and scale Danske Bank’s digital custody offering.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a specialist in digital assets, staying close to market developments, regulatory change, and innovation across blockchain based and traditional asset servicing infrastructure
- Drive vendor selection, product development and product approval processes for the bank’s digital assets custody solution
- Own the identification, management, and ongoing monitoring of product risks and regulatory obligations
- Work closely with Transaction Banking colleagues, technology teams, strategy units and support functions to establish the custody foundations required to deliver on our strategic and commercial goals
- Contribute to a coherent long term digital assets strategy and roadmap together with the Digital Assets team and stakeholders across the Group

We see you as someone with:
- Experience within digital assets (e.g. cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, blockchain, tokenisation and/or custody)
- Experience within traditional financial services (e.g. asset servicing, custody, payments, capital markets, securities services, product development or financial infrastructure)
- Are comfortable working across organisational boundaries and navigating complex internal and external stakeholder landscapes
- Balance analytical and strategic thinking with practical execution and structured problem solving
- Assume responsibility and help advance initiatives where needed
- Have strong communication skills, with the ability to engage, inspire through clear written, verbal and presentation communication
- Have experience with or willingness to learn about relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. MiCA, DORA, and other financial regulations)
