Tasks And Qualifications
Project Execution & Integration:
- Manage small, straightforward projects through the full lifecycle—from initiation to closeout.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets using industry best practices.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and contribute to process improvements.
- Support project teams across all execution phases, seeking guidance when needed.
- Assist in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Build and maintain collaborative project schedules aligned with contractual obligations.
- Develop resource plans that support budget and schedule requirements.
- Monitor progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Proactively address roadblocks to keep deliverables on track.
- Coordinate activities across cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Lead project meetings, document decisions, track action items, and ensure accountability.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports.
- Maintain organized, accessible project documentation.
- Communicate risks, issues, and updates clearly and promptly.
- Track contract milestones and deliverables to ensure vendor compliance.
- Assist with invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Maintain organized contract records and documentation.
- Support review of vendor proposals and contracts.
- Track project expenses against approved budgets.
- Support the preparation of budget reports and variance analyses.
- Gather data for cost forecasting and resource planning.
- Assist in implementing cost‑saving measures.
- Maintain accurate financial records for all project activities.
- Support risk and issue management, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Create and maintain risk management plans.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues to minimize impact on deliverables.
- Complete engineering design tasks within the mechanical or controls engineering scope.
- Write and execute acceptance testing plans.
- 2–4 years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Experience managing projects of moderate complexity and coordinating cross‑departmental teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality deliverables.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Command Center).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience interacting with external vendors, consultants, and clients.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80% annually), including across EMEA to customer sites and meetings.
