**Senior Java Developer** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: Dublin (5 days per week on site)

Role Overview

As a Java Developer focused on Ping Identity and ForgeRock, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions that secure digital identities and facilitate seamless access across our enterprise systems. Your expertise will ensure compliance and enhance our security posture in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Ping Identity and ForgeRock components (AM, IDM, DS, IG) utilizing Java and Groovy.
• Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications and infrastructure to streamline access processes.
• Implement identity flows, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and access governance mechanisms.
• Build RESTful APIs for identity services and facilitate external integrations.
• Create attribute mapping logic across various systems, including LDAP, RDBMS, and HR systems.
• Automate software upgrades and patches using CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment.
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to optimize IAM services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, including synchronization and integration challenges.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for IAM services, maintaining operational excellence.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, QA, and business teams to support deployments and testing efforts.
• Document IAM architectures, workflows, and technical specifications for future reference and compliance.

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience with Ping Identity and ForgeRock IAM solutions (AM, IDM, DS, IG).
• Strong programming skills in Java and Groovy.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, LDAP, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices to streamline development processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Prior experience in financial services or regulated environments is a must.
• Knowledge of identity governance and compliance frameworks to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (SPLUNK, Dynatrace, Prometheus) to maintain service health and performance.
