Role Summary:

As the Talent and Engagement Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting both the stores and the Brand Centre employees. You will be responsible for delivering a broad range of support including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, policy implementation and compliance with Irish employment legislation. We are looking for a passionate, proactive and approachable person that is looking to support our employees in a fast-paced environment.


This role is hybrid with 3-4 days in our office in Dublin City Centre.


Role Responsibilities:


Employee Relations

  • Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies,
  • procedures, and best practice.
  • Manage employee relations cases including absence management, performance issues, disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes, in line with NI and ROI employment law.
  • Support managers with investigations, hearings, and documentation as required


Employment Law & Compliance

  • Ensure HR practices, policies, and procedures are compliant with current NI and ROI employment legislation.
  • Monitor legislative changes and advise the business on potential impacts.
  • Support audits and ensure accurate employee records are maintained.


Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including role scoping, job descriptions, interviews, and offers.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Train, coach and support our employees development by managing the L&D platform


HR Administration & Systems

  • Maintain HR system and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare HR documentation including contracts, amendments, and letters.
  • Support payroll processes by providing accurate and timely HR data.


Performance & Development

  • Support performance management processes, including probation reviews and annual appraisal.
  • Assist with learning and development initiatives and training coordination.


Policy & Process Improvement

  • Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business needs.


Key Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in HR or a Business-related discipline
  • CIPD qualified or working towards same
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Employee Relations
  • Experience of working in a variety of sectors including retail
  • High standard of computing skills including Microsoft Office
