Our client, a leading international construction and engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of large-scale construction projects.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will lead site teams, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of construction projects from planning through to handover
• Manage site teams including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with programme, budget and quality standards
• Monitor progress and address risks or delays where required
• Work closely with commercial, planning and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
• Chair site and progress meetings and provide regular project reporting
• Oversee subcontractor performance and procurement activities

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects from start to finish
• Experience working with a main contractor or large engineering contractor
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, programme management and cost control
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Irish health & safety regulations and site practices

Qualifications

Essential

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
• Experience in a Project Manager role within a Tier 1 or large contractor environment
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g. Safe Pass, SMSTS, CSCS or equivalent)

Desirable

• Professional membership or working towards CIOB, Engineers Ireland, RICS or ICE
• Experience delivering projects within life sciences, data centres, infrastructure or commercial sectors
• Experience with BIM or digital project delivery tools
