Join Mintos and help improve how our engineering teams build, ship, and operate software.We’re looking for an Engineering Productivity Intern to work closely with our CTO and engineering teams. In this role, you’ll focus on creating internal tools, automations, and technical prototypes that make development faster, more reliable, and easier to operate. This is a hands-on technical internship where you’ll explore engineering challenges across the organization, experiment with solutions, and help turn good ideas into practical improvements for our development workflows. If you enjoy building tools, exploring new technologies, and solving engineering problems that impact many developers at once, this role is for you.

You you'll do:
- Build internal tools and automation that improve engineering workflows and reduce operational overhead.
- Research and prototype solutions for engineering challenges such as inter-service communication standards and developer productivity tooling.
- Explore and evaluate technologies related to software delivery quality and engineering efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Document technical findings and contribute to internal engineering documentation.
- Prepare technical proposals and share recommendations with engineering leadership.
- Help experiment with new approaches to improve how software is built, tested, and deployed.
Must-haves:
- Strong programming fundamentals and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, tools, and domains.
- A problem-solving mindset and curiosity about how systems work.
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, etc.).
- Interest in developer tooling, automation, distributed systems, or software quality.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Experience with scripting or automation.
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, or cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools or developer tooling.
