KR Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Compliance Officer for a well-established private equity firm with an office in Luxembourg City.
The firm operates a Luxembourg AIFM supporting private equity and other alternative funds. The AIFM is seeking a Senior Compliance & AML Officer to independently manage core compliance and AML/CTF responsibilities for alternative funds and mandates.
Responsibilities
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on implementation
- Lead and execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including testing, documentation, analysis of findings, and reporting.
- Identify process gaps, propose remediation, and conduct thematic reviews at AIFM and fund level.
- Oversee delegates and service providers
- Design and implement AML/CTF frameworks in line with Luxembourg requirements.
- Lead complex due diligence on investors, funds, distributors, and assets.
- Manage periodic AML reviews,
- Deliver AML/KYC training.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6-8 years in compliance and AML/CTF within asset management, private equity, private banking, or Big Four.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CTF law and CSSF rules, AIFMD, CSSF 18/698, ESG/SFDR, PRIIPs/KIDs, outsourcing/cloud/operational resilience/DORA, and data protection.
- Relevant degree required; CAMS or equivalent AML qualification is highly desirable
- Fluency in English
