Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amsterdam for a Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Data Scientist/Engineer with 1–2 years of experience.
In this role you will work closely with senior consultants and data scientists to analyze commercial data, support pricing and promotion strategies, and identify growth opportunities for leading consumer goods companies.
You will contribute to building analytical models, developing decision tools, and translating complex datasets into clear business insights. The role offers strong exposure to topics such as pricing optimization, promotional effectiveness, assortment strategy, and commercial analytics.
As our analytics capabilities evolve, there will also be opportunities to work with AI-driven analytics, large language models (LLMs), and emerging agent-based modelling approaches to support decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial datasets to identify pricing, promotion, and assortment opportunities
- Support development of analytical models and decision tools for clients
- Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate results
- Work with consultants and clients to apply analytics in real business decisions
- Contribute to the development of new analytical approaches and internal tools
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in analytics, consulting, data science, or a related role
- Strong analytical skills with experience in tools such as Python, R, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Ability to work with structured datasets and translate analysis into actionable business insights
- Strong interest or experience in AI-driven analytics, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or agent-based modelling
- Experience applying data analysis to business problems such as pricing, commercial performance, or market analysis
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
