Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of exchange products (Spot, Derivatives, Fiat gateway, etc.)
• Build and optimize KPI frameworks (conversion rate, liquidity depth, retention, active traders, etc.)
• Monitor product performance and deliver data-driven insights for product iteration
• Identify operational bottlenecks and improve trading user journeys

2. Regulatory & Compliance Collaboration

• Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure product features meet EU regulatory standards (KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, market abuse prevention)
• Track regulatory developments such as MiCA and assess product impact
• Support regulatory reporting and internal audit preparation

3. User Growth & Engagement

• Design and execute compliant user growth strategies across European markets
• Optimize onboarding funnel (registration → KYC → deposit → first trade)
• Develop incentive mechanisms (trading campaigns, fee rebates, liquidity programs) within compliance boundaries
• Enhance user retention and trading frequency

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, and Customer Support teams
• Coordinate with market makers and liquidity providers
• Ensure smooth go-to-market execution for new features and product releases

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields
• 3+ years of product operations experience in exchange, fintech, or trading platforms
• Strong understanding of exchange mechanics (matching engine logic, order types, liquidity structure)
• Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in licensed EU entities (EMI, VASP, or regulated trading venues)
• Familiarity with leading global exchanges such as Binance, Kraken, or Coinbase or local Bitvavo
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or BI tools
• Fluency in English; additional European languages (German, French, Spanish) are a plus
