Location: Hamburg (On-site).


Remote Work:

Hybrid: Initially, on-site during onboarding (2-3 months), transitioning to 2 days of home office flexibility afterwards.


Languages Required:

German C2 (fluent).


Core Responsibilities:

1) Talent Acquisition & Hiring:

*Full-cycle recruitment for internal positions from C-level to individual contributors.

*Active sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection.

*Managing contracts and advising on labor law matters.

2) Employee Relations & Development:

*Shaping onboarding and offboarding processes.

*Conducting employee development and performance reviews.

*Promoting and enhancing company culture.

3) HR Operations & Strategy:

*Managing day-to-day HR tasks, including administrative responsibilities.

*Leading HR projects and initiatives related to employer branding (in collaboration with marketing).


Education:

Preferably a degree in Human Resources or a related field, though relevant experience is more critical.


Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in HR, with experience in both operational and strategic HR responsibilities, and ideally building an HR department.


Skill Set:

*Strong knowledge of labor law and contracts.

*Excellent communication and networking skills.

*Proactive, reliable, with a “hands-on” mentality.


Personality Traits:

*Sociable, empathetic, trustworthy, and capable of going the extra mile.

*Strong leadership, but with an emphasis on humility and teamwork.


Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: €55,000 - €65,000 (per year, gross).


Bonus/Variable Pay:

No bonus currently, but there is potential to develop a variable pay structure.


Hiring Process:

1) Phone Interview with Kian (CEO) to assess cultural fit and general qualifications.

2) On-site Interview (1.5 hours) for an in-depth discussion.

3) Remote Case Study focusing on a real HR-related topic (tailored to the candidate's experience and expertise).

4) Follow-up: Review the case study with Kian and meet the broader team if the case study is successful.


Team Structure:

*Direct Reports: Kian (Managing Director) - HR department to be built by this role

*Reporting Line: Reports directly to Kian (CEO).

*Collaboration: Daily collaboration with other departments, especially with marketing (for employer branding) and upper management for recruitment.


Role Specifics:

*Contract: Permanent, full-time.

*Work Hours: 40 hours/week with flexible working options.

*Probation Period: 6 months.

*Vacation: 30 days annually.
