Job Description
We are strengthening our team with an IP/MPLS Network Engineer to support the current workload, operational pressure, and service delivery needs within the provisioning team. We are looking for an autonomous and experienced professional, used to working in demanding environments involving IP/MPLS Cisco/Nokia networks, Fortinet firewalls, NSO, NSP, migrations, network reorganizations, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Configuration of Core IP/MPLS networks and services – B2B and B2C.
- Technical support and troubleshooting for fault resolution – B2B and B2C.
- Implementation and migration of XGSPON access.
- Execution of circuit/service migrations (baldeamentos) as part of Core IP/MPLS network reorganization.
- Support to internal and external teams in solution implementation and troubleshooting.
- Participation in an on‑call rotation (1 week per month).
- Solid experience with IP Networks and Internet Protocol (IPv4/IPv6).
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching.
- Experience with IP/MPLS networks (Cisco and Nokia).
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls, NSO, and NSP.
- Experience with Cisco/Nokia circuit migrations, OLT swaps, BPON, and XGSPON.
- Ability to troubleshoot critical environments with a focus on stability and service quality.
- Autonomy in configuring new services and handling incident resolution.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset.
- Team‑oriented, collaborative and clear communicator.
- High sense of responsibility and ability to perform under operational pressure
- Workplace type: Hybrid (max. of 3 times per week in the office);
- Location: Picoas, Lisboa.
