Role Overview

We are looking for a Tech Lead Business Intelligence to join our Fabric Analytics Team, contributing to digital transformation initiatives within the Portuguese public sector. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize modern Microsoft BI and Fabric-based data solutions to support strategic decision-making and large-scale modernization programs.

What you will do

• Design and implement modern Microsoft BI and Fabric architectures, including Medallion, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse models;

• Develop end-to-end data solutions leveraging SQL Server, Python, Fabric pipelines, notebooks, and Git-based development workflows;

• Optimize data performance, capacity management, monitoring, and security within Microsoft Fabric;

• Ensure best practices in data governance through RLS/CLS, OneLake Security, and access policies;

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project leads to deliver impactful data products and analytics solutions.

What you are like

• Experienced in Business Intelligence projects using the Microsoft technology stack;

• Proficient with SQL Server for data modeling, integration, and optimization;

• Skilled in Microsoft Fabric, including Medallion architecture, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, pipelines, Git integration, notebooks, and deployment pipelines;

• Skilled in Python for data engineering and analytical workloads;

• Familiar with DevOps/GitHub workflows applied to data solution lifecycle management;

• Strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills and a proactive mindset;

• Comfortable taking a leadership role when necessary and adapting to various client contexts;

• Knowledge of ADF, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS is a plus.
