Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer - Financial Sector - Stockholm

I am looking for an Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team within a large, international financial organization. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining both modern Azure cloud infrastructure and existing on-premise environments, supporting the organization's ongoing cloud and infrastructure transformation.

You will work in a collaborative team contributing to both new infrastructure projects and day-to-day operational improvements. The role will involve a balanced mix of project work (approximately 50%) and operational support through the existing ticketing system (50%), giving you the opportunity to work across both strategic initiatives and hands-on engineering.

A key part of the position will involve onboarding new customers and environments, so the ability to confidently communicate infrastructure concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and on-premise environments.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support scalable and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
• Work on new infrastructure projects as well as operational tasks through the existing ticketing system.
• Support networking and firewall configurations across hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues including the Infrastructure Manager, Tech Lead, and engineering team.
• Lead or support the onboarding of new customers and environments, ensuring infrastructure is implemented efficiently and securely.
• Communicate infrastructure designs, challenges, and solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and on-premise environments.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code within Azure.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience working with firewalls and network security configurations.
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders around infrastructure topics.
• Experience working in hybrid infrastructure environments is highly beneficial.

This role requires candidates to speak fluent Swedish and visa sponsorship cannot be provided.
