About The Role & Team

Designs develops maintains and supports functionality and features in modules within an application or system using existing and emerging technology platforms.

What You Will Do

Writes and delivers code for functionality and features in application modules and debugs existing code.
Follows coding guidelines and practices and all technical processes.
Develops and validates estimates for technical work that will be undertaken.
Participates in analysis of requirements for designing new application as well as system features and analyses/triages defects on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering.- Professional programming certification in a mainstream programming language is a plus
Minimum of 4+ years software engineering experience in a development capacity preferably using a mainstream Object Orientated language such as C++ or similar
JAVA is appreciated
Development for C++ back end
Agile Development
Application Design Architecture
Application Development Tools
Application Maintenance & Application Programming Interfaces (API's)
Pluses: Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ or equivalent, Microservices, Cloud development
