We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support the development, validation and industrialization of electric/hybrid vehicle e-drive systems.
This role focuses on system verification, testing, troubleshooting and production support, working closely with internal teams and international development partners. The position requires strong system-level understanding across electric machines, inverters and embedded software.
You will do …
- Lead and execute system validation and verification activities
- Define, maintain and track DV/PV and system test plans
- Analyze test results and support technical issue resolution
- Perform structured root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support software validation, flashing and calibration processes
- Troubleshoot system behavior across motor, inverter and control software
- Provide technical support for EOL (End of Line) tester, production and warranty cases
- Interface with customers, suppliers and cross functional engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal development, production and quality processes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related engineering fields
- Very good command of English,
- +5 years of experience in automotive industry for product development,
- No travel restrictions
- Strong understanding of electric machine and inverter fundamentals
- Solid background in power electronics and motor drive systems
- Experience with system validation and verification methodologies
- Familiarity with automotive embedded software validation workflows
- Practical experience with ECU flashing, calibration and diagnostics
- Knowledge of test environments: bench, lab and production
- Good understanding of system integration and functional behavior
- Good understanding of vehicle communication networks (CAN or LIN protocols)
- Functional safety (ISO 26262) knowledge
- A-Spice experience
- System architecture and design knowledge or experience
- Knowledge of OBD (On-board diagnostic) tools
- MATLAB scripting experience
