Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Office-Based)
Location: Dubai, UAE
For our client, a well-established contracting company in Dubai, we are looking for an experienced Project Technical Manager to manage and coordinate the technical aspects of multiple projects from the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with all engineering disciplines across multiple projects.
- Review and submit material submittals in compliance with building codes, regulations, and green building requirements.
- Coordinate between architectural and structural teams.
- Manage communication with stakeholders regarding project updates and technical changes.
- Lead and manage the project technical team.
- Review shop drawings prepared in-house and by subcontractors.
- Coordinate engineering works between subcontractors and consultants.
- Review IFC drawings, submit RFIs, and ensure alignment with project documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and attend technical meetings.
- Prepare reports and follow the project technical plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical coordination/management within a contracting company.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
