Back End Developer (Node)

We are partnering with a high-growth technology start-up, that is redefining the rules of music production. Backed by a top-tier European VC and several iconic Silicon Valley tech pioneers, they have reached significant scale—surpassing 1 million user-generated assets within months of their initial launch.

As a core member of the founding engineering team, you will be responsible for maturing and leading the core platform as it scales from its successful pilot phase to millions of global users.

We are looking for a brilliant, passionate engineer—likely with around 4-6 years of hands-on experience—who is ready to step out of a siloed role and into a position of true ownership.

You’ve mastered the basics; now it’s time to apply them at a scale most engineers only see at much larger firms.

📈Your Impact & Growth Path

• Own the Migration: You’ll lead our transition from a pilot database to a high-performance relational schema. This is a rare chance to own a migration end-to-end—a "gold star" project for any engineer's career.
• Master Complex Systems: You will solve the high-stakes problems of global commerce, building a "bulletproof" payments and subscription engine that manages revenue for millions of users.
• Creative Engineering: You’ll tackle the hard (but fun & interesting) stuff. Your code will be the reason a creator halfway across the world can make music in real-time.
• Build the Culture: As a founding team member, you’ll help set the standards. From CI/CD workflows to observability, you are helping build the "how we work" playbook from the ground up.

• Node.js/TypeScript ecosystem
• Solid Database Experience, leading their upcoming database migration
• Systems Engineer: You have a natural instinct for identifying failure modes and optimizing performance
