Most hiring decisions are based on gut feel; we’re changing that with data. We are building a high-scale platform that uses behavioral science and proprietary algorithms to remove bias from the global workforce. As we scale, we’re looking for a Lead Engineer to own the architecture of a product that ensures the right people get the right opportunities, regardless of their background.

We need a hands-on Technical Leader to help us scale the platform to meet the next level of global impact.

The Setup:

  • London-based: Remote-first or Hybrid (you choose what works).
  • Note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.

The Impact: What You’ll Actually Do

As a Lead Engineer, you aren’t just a manager; you are the architectural heartbeat of the team. You will:

  • Build & Lead: Spend roughly 60-70% of your time hands-on in the code, while dedicating the rest to mentoring a talented engineering squad.
  • Own the Architecture: Move beyond feature-building to design robust, scalable systems that handle complex, trusted data.
  • Champion "Clean" Engineering: Lead the charge on CI/CD, automated testing, and agile best practices to ensure our velocity matches our ambition.
  • Bridge the Gap: Collaborate directly with stakeholders to turn high-level vision into technical reality.

The Toolkit We’re Looking For

  • The Core: Expert-level .NET 6+ and C# (with a solid understanding of legacy .NET Framework).
  • Data Mastery: Deep experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL.
  • Modern Frontend: Strong React & TypeScript skills. While the role is backend-leaning (approx. 70/30), you should be comfortable navigating the frontend to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience.
  • Leadership Instinct: You enjoy code reviews, mentoring, and "raising the bar" for the engineers around you.
